- 7/4: Happy 4th of July! Family Fun practice from 8:30-9:30 (no regular practices)
- 7/10: Breakfast Fit for a Cuda after each practice!
- 7/12: Team Photo at 6:00 followed by Pep Rally and Cardboard Regatta
Family Folders are OUT! Go get your ribbons and speeding tickets, Cudas! For new families - the folder box is located in the office by the entry door. Please check your folders weekly!
We will be offering additional Stroke and Turn Clinics in July led by Holden Skidmore! Each clinic will last for one week starting July 1, July 8 and July 15. One group of 5 or so each week from 10:15-10:45. Please indicate your interest by pre-registering. When your registration is confirmed, I will follow up with you for payment ($50 per week, $40 for 1st week due to 4th). As a reminder, these clinics are for experienced swimmers to work on stroke refinements (must be able to swim all 4 strokes).
Team t-shirts will be passed out at the pep rally this Friday! Pep rally will start at 6:30. Do not lose your shirt! You need to wear them for the team photo….leading me to remind you:
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Team photo will be July 12th at 6:00 pm. Pep rally and boat regatta to follow. BRING YOUR SHIRTS. BRING EM.
And….announcing the return of…Breakfast Fit for a Cuda! Have your swimmer stay after practice on Wednesday July 10th for a very special breakfast. See this flyer for more details and sign up on SwimTopia to contribute or volunteer! This is a great opportunity for families to help that aren’t able to take on more than one shift during meets.
In full commitment now to a non-chronological update - don’t forget to RSVP for the meet and sign up to volunteer this weekend. I promise, it will go faster than the last one. Westminster Riding Club is a much smaller team. You guys are seasoned professionals after Five Oaks.
Did you bring a tent for the meet on Saturday and leave it at the pool? It's currently in the swim team shed.
Great start to the summer, Cudas! Keep it up!
