Meet Results: WRC (141) at Atholton (311)
What a meet, Cudas! Final Score: WRC 141 - Atholton 311. Meet results are attached.
First and foremost - our coaches are the best! They are so supportive of our swimmers and put in so much time and energy getting ready for meets. Please give them a high five when you see them!
- Britney Sutton for all of her help to make meets run smooth! She works really hard to get all of our volunteer positions filled and handles all of my crazy pre-meet text messages. It's a lot, and I'm grateful for you!
- Veronica Joy for taking the lead with our team t-shirt! She does a ton of work behind the scenes and they always turn out fantastic!
- Zach Weaver again! for helping out in the Cuda Bar with food!
- Stephanie Hoffman for the delicious pulled pork a second week in a row! And her swimmer wasn't in the meet this week!
- Roy Kent for grilling the hot dogs! Last Ted Lasso reference, I promise.
- We are hosting Freedom next Saturday - one of our larger teams (in between Five Oaks and WRC in terms of numbers). Obviously, we know that it is a holiday weekend coming up and some of you might be away. Please help us out and RSVP and sign up to volunteer as soon as you're able! I fully expect we'll need each family to sign up for 2 shifts - thank you in advance!
- No regular practice on the 4th! Family fun practice from 8:30-9:30 (parents, siblings, anyone is welcome to join).
- Spots still available for stroke and turn clinic starting July 8th and July 15th. Please pre-register, if interested.

A note about the Straehle relay teams. It is possible that different complements of kids qualify in an age group for a Straehle relay over the course of the regular season (for example: Group A qualifies in Week 2 and Group B (with one different swimmer) qualifies in Week 3). This actually happens almost every year (looking at you 11-12 boys). If this happens, the coaches will determine which swimmers will attend Straehle from the group of qualifiers as we can only send 1 relay team. If your swimmer qualified on a relay this week, please set the expectation that the Straehle relay teams are not set in stone at this point.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
